WEST FORK WATERWORKS - PWS ID # 577
The Department of Health has released the 'Boil Water' Notice confirmed on 7/24/2025 by WEST FORK WATERWORKS for the Entire System. This order was issued as a precautionary measure because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as a result of a complete loss in normal system pressure and a maintenance repair by Fayetteville Waterworks.
Bacteriological samples taken on Thursday, July 24, 2025 were found to be free of bacterial contamination and a satisfactory disinfectant level has been established throughout the distribution system. The water is therefore considered 'Safe' for human consumption and the 'Boil Water' notice is hereby lifted.
Sincerely,

🚨 Boil Order Notice for West Fork Residents 🚨
The City of Fayetteville has notified us that West Fork will be under a mandatory boil order starting at midnight on July 24, 2025.
This is a precautionary measure, and we expect the boil order to be lifted by the evening of July 25, 2025, pending test results.
We will post updates as soon as more information becomes available. In the meantime, please boil all water used for drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
